I was just informed of a very rare 5 oz Gold Panda selling for roughly $240,000.  Is this crazy?  Let's put it this way.  Previous to this sale, I have only seen one of these.  That's right, only one.  I purchased it right away.  I did not wait or try to negotiate.  It was more like, "tell me your price and I will pay on the spot."  Price was not an issue.  I paid well over market pricing because I knew one day everyone would realize the raritiy.  

Don't ask me about stocks, but I can pick Modern Chinese coins all day.  I am told about less than 20 of these are believed to exist.  I don't know if this is true, but I do know dealers who have been selling Modern Chinese coins for 20 years and have never seen this coin before. 

Great coins sell at great prices.  When offered, a person has to buy on the spot because there is always someone else waiting in line to pay the price.  Most people do not understand this.  There are no deals when it comes to these coins. 

Is the $240,000 price too high?  Not a chance.  This coin will continue to gain attention and value.  Do not be surprised to see this coin bring double this amount the next time it is offered.
