First, I have to apologize for not writing any blogs for the past two weeks.  I have received many emails and phone calls remiding me to supply updates.  Between traveling to the Fun Show and then taking some time off after the show resulted in lots of catch up when returning. 

The FUN Show in Orlando was really exciting.  We were busy each day of the show.  There was lots of buying and selling.  It was great to see everyone who have helped us throughout the years.  It was great to be in Florida.  Warm weather, sunshine and coins.  You can't go wrong.   

2012 - Year of The Dragon should be a great year.  We are very optimistic of the future of this market.  The pull back has been good to eliminate the weak buyers and sellers of Modern Chinese coins.  I think the market is in a favorable position to start increasing after Chinese New Year.  Those who chose to wait and try to time the market will regret not purchasing coins during the decline.  By the time they realize it is time to purchase, prices for less common coins will have jumped off the lows seen late last year.          

People always ask why we attend the Fun Show vs the New York Show.  I always joke and say there are 10 times more Modern Chinese coins in Florida than at the New York show.  

We had a huge space to accomodate many of the coins we wanted to display and for private showings within our booth.  When I say huge, it consisted of 2 full size corner tables along with two in-line tables.  Modern Chinese coins kept us very busy.  There were always people at our tables asking questions.  This made time fly by each day.
