As we mentioned in the previous blog, this Invitational Event is something very special and unique to the numismatic communtiy.  Most coin shows try to create large environements that are over crowded and not geared for the people attending.  This Invitational Event is a boutique show with only those invited allowed to attend.

I just learned that Mint Officials and Distributors will be attending this show along with former Mint personel, including a person who was responsible for stamping numbers in the edge of special issued coins.  At one time the stamping of the numbers was done by hand.  Today this is done by equipment.  This should be a great opportunity to learn.     

Besides the Modern Chinese coins at dealers booths and the Champion Auction of Modern Chinese coins, having such dignitaries present makes this Invitational Event even more exciting and important.
