The Beijing coins show just ended last week.  Coins at the show and in auction realized very strong prices.  Stronger than I have seen before.  We are witnessing something very powerful.  Prices are moving higher due to their raritiy and demand.  As I always mention, rarity does not go our of style.  The chance to purchase these rare coins is just as rare as the coins themselves.  If you do not purchase when offered, you might not see again for many years.  That is why Majestic Rarities pays ahead of the curve.  It is not uncommon for us to pay way over the market price to own this coin for our collection, investment and enjoyment.

If you read previous blogs, I mention a great coin deal is having the opportunity to purchae a rare coin at a reasonable price.  Do not expect bargains or low prices for these coins.  Expect to pay over whatever you think the market price.  In the past several months, I have been told countless times how people wish they purchased certain coins when offered vs trying to negotiate lower pricing and not purchasing.  We have all made this mistake of not purchasing certain coins.  No one is perfect.  Do not beat yourself up over the coins that "got away."  Focus on not making this same mistake again.  When rare coins are offered, buy them!  Even if you think you are overpaying.  By the way, you probably are not overpaying, you probably do not know the real value of the coin.
