Earlier this month I wrote about safety.  I think this is such an important topic that is not talked about or stressed enough.  Please take the time to read this and then read my previous blog about safety.  For the record, I always receive emails and phone calls after I post each blog.  I received one of the greatest amount of responses to the previous blog about safety.  This is not only a hot topic but everyone is concerned as the economy gets weaker and unemployment remains at staggering levels.

The reason I am writing about this again is a New York coin dealer was just killed on or about August 24th as he was leaving his shop.  He was beaten to death by three people.  This is real and this can happen to anybody.  Everyone has to be careful with all of the coverage about the increase in Gold, Silver and Platinum.  I am not trying to scare you but heighten your awareness.  

Be aware of your surroundings, do not take anything for granted!!!  Never carry numimatic items of value with you and do not store in your home.  Make use of safety deposit boxes at the bank, depositories or other secure measures.  These are desparate times and the world is changing before our eyes.   

One Law Enforcement Officer sent me an email explaining how everyone should check around and underneath their car to make sure there are no GPS tracking devices attached.

If you take the attitude, "this won't happen to me"  then guess what, it probably will.  Be cautious and be aware of anything suspicious.  Do not take anything for granted, do not become a victim.
